HERO
A miraculous accomplishment for writer/producer/director Sally Elliot,
producing a feature length movie for zero dollars.
Huge thanks and recognition must go to all cast and crew.
THE STORY
The movie, HERO, is a romantic drama set in South East Queensland. It depicts DR. TED NORTON played by Andrew Foley, who, stricken by the death of a child cancer patient, turns to drugs. His life now spiralling out of control, he finds comfort in the arms of another woman, MICHELLE, portrayed by Kath McBride-Hellewell. His wife, SUSAN, played by Natalie Galvin, is not supportive of Ted’s efforts to regain his sanity and lifestyle, but Michelle sees things differently.
Ted struggles to regain respect from his peers and patients, turning away from Susan and taking the comfort that Michelle’s arms offer him. As he embarks on this passionate and transformative love affair, Ted must confront his inner demons and battle against the grip of drug dependence that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.
MEET THE CAST AND CREW
'There are so many people I wish to thank. I am hoping that by lisiting all those generous actors, crew members, location providers and just assistants in general, that other movie producers may recognise their efforts. I can firmly vouch for everyone who worked on my movie and believe their professionalism and dedication would be a great asset to anyone looking for help with their production.'

A BIG THANK YOU FROM SALLY
It feels like forever that I have been dreaming of writing, producing and directing my own movie. I started writing scripts back in the seventies, and after all these years have finally produced my first feature length movie for the big screen.
I owe so many thanks to all those involved. Without the generous donation of time and talent of so many people, as well as those wonderful business and property owners allowing me to film on their premises, this little miracle could never have happened.
So a huge thank you to all and who knows what the future may hold for all of us, let's hope it's everything we want it to be.
